They gave me some information on the little post office in the building, which is very old fashioned. It is still working but only twice a year when the festivals come around.
The wooden refrigerator was built specifically for the store. It ran by a generator, but to keep the costs low, they turned it off at night and bought ice from a nearby company. The generator was turned off at night and ice was placed int he shelves to keep everything cold. Then during the day the generator was turned back on.
The store gave out its’ own Whitebog cash in payment to the workers, who were mostly . The workers then traded the cash in to the store to buy food or whatever else they wanted.
I then ventured out to the working farm bogs and found some neat things I didn’t expect to find. I had never taken the time to take a closer look at the bogs.
